Healthcare | Coach management application

Transvorm brings together nearly 300 employers in the healthcare and social care sector across the Dutch province of North Brabant. The organisation supports its affiliated employers with labour market challenges and helps employees develop their careers sustainably.
An important part of its services is BLINK, a regional initiative that supports employees in their professional and career development. To digitalise the processes behind BLINK, Blue Green Solutions developed a Mendix application for managing coaching programmes.
The coaching programmes were largely managed through email, separate documents and handwritten notes. This approach worked while the number of programmes remained limited. However, as more healthcare organisations and employees began using BLINK, the process became increasingly difficult to scale.
Information was spread across different systems and documents. As a result, finding the right information took more time, the risk of errors increased and handling privacy-sensitive information carefully became more challenging.
Transvorm wanted to do more than simply improve the existing process. The organisation wanted to reduce its reliance on email and paper, create greater visibility and support the process from one central environment.
Blue Green Solutions developed a user-friendly Mendix application that brings together the entire coaching process.
Employees can easily register for a coaching programme online. The application then automatically determines which organisation and region they belong to and immediately assigns an available coach. Manual allocation is only required when an administrator wants to make an exception.
Once assigned, coaches manage the full programme within the same application. They can record meeting notes, upload documents, register points of attention and complete programmes. Administrators, meanwhile, have a central overview of all ongoing programmes and can easily generate reports on candidates, meetings, coaches and participating organisations.
The application is integrated with AFAS, ensuring that it fits seamlessly into Transvorm’s existing IT landscape.
Because candidates, coaches and administrators each use the application differently, every user group has its own clear environment, tailored to its daily activities.
With the BLINK application, Transvorm now has one central environment for managing coaching programmes.
Where information was previously scattered across emails, separate documents and paper notes, the entire process is now supported digitally.
The application provides Transvorm with:
The application also makes it easier to create reports and gain insight into the use of the service. Privacy-sensitive information is managed more securely, as data is stored centrally and access is restricted.
The application is currently used by 29 candidates, 15 affiliated organisations and nine coaches.
With the BLINK application, Transvorm has taken an important step in the further digitalisation of its services. By bringing the entire coaching process together in one user-friendly application, the organisation now has a scalable solution that supports employees, coaches and administrators in their daily work.
By developing the application step by step and involving users in testing from the outset, Blue Green Solutions created a solution that closely matches Transvorm’s day-to-day practice.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
