Ever since Mendix world 2018 we have been looking forward to another Hackaton organized by Mendix. We were very excited about the news that the hackaton is back! And this year it will be at the Mendix Offices worldwide. It is a great way to jam code together with peers from the Mendix scene. We believe that in our line of work, people and community are key to not only the joy of work but also to stay up to date of the latest trends and technologies.
We value all our colleagues equally so we are going to attend with everyone from the company, from Amsterdam to Singapore. We care about the people around us, that is why we greatly appreciate this year’s Hackathon’ top-notch use-cases. Coding for good is a great way to give back to the world.
Next to caring about people, we care about the code. We get energy from sparring for the best solutions, to have Booleans for Breakfast, and some crunchy Microflows for Lunch. The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
